It might be. Really no point to jump to conclusions. The current population hasn't changed much recently. It's not like there has been a rash of churches burning down there from arsonists unless I'm just unaware of something.

Old churches do burn. No conspiracy theoretician here; if I were to make an educated, reasonable guess I would say most likely they both went up in flames as a result of unattended gasleaks.
