A large number of Americans dislike both candidates.

How and if they vote will decide this election.

quote:

The candidates' favorability ratings are similar, and similarly low, with 33% of Americans having a favorable impression of Biden compared to 29% for Trump. Just over one in five Americans (21%) have an unfavorable view of both the current and former president. Whether this group votes and who they vote for will be a key driver of the 2024 outcome.

Someone needs to stay focused on the prize. Can that someone?

I'd say the majority of Americans tbh. Nobody wanted Trump vs. Biden II.

This is where Trump is going to hurt himself. Many people say everyone already knows who they're voting for, but that's simply not true for many people. There's a lot of people who haven't even tuned in to the election madness yet.

Also, I'm surprised Republicans aren't more worried about the portion of the party that seems content with voting against him. Trump will need every vote he can get and it's hard for me to see a big swing going his way.

We were told everyone was sick of Biden already in '22 and that there'd be a red wave. Everything showed it. All the polls, odds, every talking head and political analyst was saying it'd be a red wave, then the votes were counted and it was essentially the exact opposite of what everyone thought.

I think we're headed for another situation like that. Trump hasn't done a damn thing to attract voters. In fact, he's done the exact opposite in my opinion.

Nobody wanted Trump-Biden 1 except Clyburn and the Dem leadership.

Dem voters and caucuses were going Bernie or Buttplug.

Good to see you.

Sadly, many conservatives (air quotes) did want to see part II.

Family good?

What percentage of unfavorable for Trump are women? Independents don't matter. I know idiots in GA that voted (L), because the wife had female feelings, and convinced husband to do the protest vote. Women are going to do female things, and convince their men to go along with them.

It gets old just "holding your nose and voting for the lesser of two evils." I do it, but I hate that that's what our political system has come down to!

If Trump would just shut up and get out of his own way, he would win. This election needs to be about Biden.

I don’t think Trump will follow that advice though.

I’ll check to see if they broke it down by sex.

But the numbers are too huge to be too focused on just women being the problem here.

29%

Probably. But there is a chance. Focus is needed.

It's as though he alienates people for sport. He's so ridiculously predictable.

It's kind of sad seeing a grown man acting like that. We all know he'd be better than Biden, but damn that's not much of a standard at all, is it?

It's sad Republicans even have to be worried about this election. The Dems are trying to gift the Republicans a sweep in this election and Republicans think it's cool to trot out a guy that alienates everyone.
