Because women aren’t as good at the highest of levels in that game. Honestly, at all levels. There are really good ladies players, but the best female is almost always going to lose to the best male.

In chess there is no men’s only league. Women can compete for the world championship.
There is a women’s only league. Also only women can get women’s grand master title WGM. But there are a few female GM’s.
