SIAP

Fox Buisness Link

He's on the hook for 44 Billion on a company that has a market cap of 29B

It's going to be interesting to see if he can prove that the fake/spam accounts are more that the 5% that he's been told.

Anyone with a half functioning brain can tell that Twitter is more than 5% bots

Especially when you cut out all of the inactive accounts and simply focus on active accounts that interact with other tweets via retweet/like/emoji comments

Musk paid at the top of the market for Twitter and financed it in part with Tesla shares which have taken a beating as well.

If he doesn’t care I don’t. What is 10B on 250B. An extremely small percentage. And he’s just going to continue to get more rich

He's not on the hook. Twitter has refused to give data on it's fake users.

The duty is on Twitter to report this to him. If they lie, that's MAJOR, MAJOR fraud.

Musk is clearly an idiot who has no idea how finances work. That's why he's the richest man in the world.

You're one of those cucks drooling over Desantis' dick, right?

Elon when he did his crazy high bid waived due diligence.

So yes, he may back out, but he can be sued by Twitter for breach of contract.

I think there is a 1 Billion Dollar termination fee...

If that's accurate he would eat a billion before losing tens of billions

Do you not understand how actual business works?

He has every angle to bail from this deal if the board and top brass was less than forthcoming with their data (which they were)

Twitter has not shown actual growth in years despite it having all the potential to do so.

Slashing costs which don’t bring in revenue along with new business practices theoretically could make this work.

Hell, keep people who make the guts of the app work and toss a bunch of the self-important “thought leaders” who are limiting potential for political reasons.

Mostly this says to me that Twitter is being very carefully managed.

Unfortunately for them, it left them open to a guy with the funds and the know how to force a sale.

Is there a link to this? People refuse to waive diligence in $1m transactions much less $44b. It would be almost completely unheard of.

I think he sees the potential Twitter has if it stops censoring speech.

Once the sale goes through he has no vested interest in making this information public. Maybe he purges them. Maybe he doesn't.

Every time I'm on Twitter I block at least a dozen bots and maybe 5 or so real people.
