We shall see. But I'm betting in the near future we will see Isis freeing the thousands of prisoners held in that region. SDF won't be able to keep them secure and also fight Turkey.
Good luck trying to get the Kurds to help us fight off Isis again.

The Kurds needs outweigh anything else.

I agree the Kurds need a nation state as they could actually bring some civility and balance to the Middle East.
I think the group Turkey is dealing with is akin to Kurdish Hezbollah though. I'm unsure I haven't done the deep dive on if we only list them as terrorists on Turkeys behalf or because the group is.
Really what we should do is a border intervention, get London to foot the bill for a few conferences and bring the tribes to sit down and divide the regions up. Set it in stone and say this is how it is, frick it up again and it's on you. And then take that model through failed states in Africa.
Basically small scale Pakistan and India, not perfect. But gives people's a chance and choice to get on one side of the line or the other.

Turkey is a NATO ally of the USA and I believe that we should support our allies instead of supporting terrorists who hate our ally, Turkey.

What he did is present Isis a great opportunity to regather and reconstitute.
Sign the frick up and go over there and stop them then, or stfu...
You don't know shite about anything to do with that over there, nothing against that most don't but you choose to get one here and act like you are an authority...
Bless your retarded little heart...

Why can these savages not go a day without tearing each other apart?
They’ve been at it for centuries. The good guys own Jerusalem it’s all that matters to me, the rest of the region would be better off as a lake of glass.

Saw a report earlier that Syrian troops are on the way to northern Syria to assist the Kurds. That's the way it should be. Get our troops out

They could sacrifice 200-300 of their troops to kill those 50, but then tge U.S. would turn Astana into glass and make Istanbul Constantinople again.
Why do people keep saying this? Is it Rambo and video games?
The USA wouldn't do shite, except talk about sanctions.

Day 1 roundup:
-Kurdish civilians killed by indiscriminate Turkish bombing in Kobane, Qamishlo, and Tal Abyad.
- American special ops soldiers quoted as being furious at how this is being handled with a loyal ally being betrayed
- YPG camp where American soldiers were training Kurdish troops in counter terrorism bombed by Turkey.
- Dozens of female ISIS prisoners escaped from Al Hawl prison
- Most Turkish attacks have been by air so far, ground incursions more likely in the next few days.
Many GOP senators may use this as a bartering item for Trump with regards to impeachment (i.e. reverse course or we'll vote to remove you).

They have to slaughter tens of thousands of Kurds before they make it to the oil wells. Odds are the Iranians and Russians will beat them to it.
