Wish it would get done just so all the dopeheads would STFU. Worse crybabies than the LGBTQ crowd. MUH WEED!
Add the caveat that if you are a dope smoker and can't keep a job...no welfare for you.

And btw, not allowing marijuana is much, much safer than freely allowing it. Just like requiring stop signs at intersections, as opposed to not forcing anyone to stop
Oh god... hahahaha
On the same note, let's ban alcohol, cake, tobacco, cell phones, guns, knives...
People would be safer without all these things too

Why is this a priority?

The one thing I don't like this part of the country, old timers think everything is bad for you.

Finally! Marijuana is very harmless I can give a kid in elementary marujauna and it would have zero harm on him or her vs tobacco.
Not only that with it being legal and as common as OTC, giving it to childrens to have them chill out would be great or maybe even help them sleep. I am sure parents will appreicate the extra help. ANd unruly kids in highschool? Just give them Marijuana so they can calm down.
The potential is endless!

So is not allowing alcohol
Well there was that whole Prohibition thingy
Do you think Prohibition was a success? Which is safer - legal alcohol or illegal alcohol? Because no alcohol was never an option, just like no marijuana will never be an option. You are responsible for putting billions of dollars into the hands of drug cartels. You are responsible for the militarization of law enforcement. It is moronic to only look at the collateral effects of drugs themselves and pretend that drug laws don't have their own collateral effects that are vastly more destructive. You can choose to abstain from personal drug use but you can't choose to abstain from being subject to the abomination of entrepreneurial law enforcement that the WoD has produced.

Ask all the families that have been destroyed by incestuous drunk dads, drunk wife beaters, or drunk drivers since the 1930s. Who never got the headlines that Al Capone did
Plus remember the FBI was formed as an excuse to combat the mob, yet look at where we are today with the FBI and its 'law enforcement role' in politics
And besides, once the Muslims take over the Democratic party, America will be under Prohibition once again anyway, so . . . .

The research on marijuana and developmental issues is something we should talk about.

What you mean? It is perfectly safe and healthy. It might even calm down a lot of children. I am thinking of how it can help us in every day usage once it is legalized.

You surprised? Rand Paul was the only main GOPer talking to black audiences about solutions. Ted Cruz, Paul Ryan and others said they were going to follow his example. What happened to that? *crickets*
I honestly thing the two parties have an agreement: You handle some issues, and I'll handle the rest.
Btw, only legalizing marijuana will lead to other problems. Full drug legalization is the answer.

Truth is that it is easier for an underaged kid to get weed than it is alcohol. Legalize it, regulate it, and tax it.
I’ve never smoked the stuff but I don’t see how it’s any different than booze.

There’s some data tying it to cognitive issues.
We should still legalize though.

Trump has already stated, a long time ago, that he’d sign a legalization/decriminalization bill.
He should be actively screaming that on a daily basis on his Presidential Twitter.
