Tulsi Gabbard explains her evolving thoughts on the Second Amendment

The cliff notes version is that she was born and raised in Hawaii, a state with some of the strictest gun laws on the books (I can personally attest to this), and therefore she did not grow up around firearms that much. She supported the Second Amendment insofar as she believed every American had a right to defend themselves but also believed in "common sense" gun laws that would help to prevent mass killings. Whenever someone would bring up the fact that the Second Amendment was also there to protect Americans from a tyrannical government, she scoffed at that argument because she didn't believe it possible in our modern age for governments to become tyrannical enough to the point where a firearm was needed to defend yourself against it. Then 2020 happened and her outlook on government changed.

So she took till age 45 what I recognized at age 10. All hail evolution?

At this point, if she drags some moderate dems over to vote Trump, I say frick it let’s go. She can’t be any worse than Pence ended up being.

Ronald Reagan was a registered Democrat until the age of 51.

I think she will end up being the pick

She is still a net gain if she can be the future of the democrats. I'm finishing up her interview on Lex right now. I'll check this out to see where she stands as 2A is one of the topics o do not agree with her on

Odd POV coming from a native Hawaiian.

Lol
Zero chance. Dems hates her. GOP hates her. GOPe hates her. Only moderates on both sides tolerate her.
I like Tulsi overall but not only does she say what people want to hear, but her time as a politician is done. And has been for some time.

fricking grifter, but the simps will buy it.
Good people just don't want these jobs. It's always going to be crooked game show hosts.
This is also how they turn the right to the left. It's not as absurd as something like 'based trannies,' but it's far more effective.

A legit game show host was elected President in 2016. No shite, he hosted a game show.

The protection from a tyrannical government argument is not built on a
particular strong foundation. I watched Matt Gaetz stumble through
making that argument and it became obvious that he knew little about the
Constitutional Convention or the discussions surrounding the 2nd Amendment.
