Palestinian Christians have gotten it pretty bad from the Jewish Israelis almost since the beginning.....especially the Orthodox Jews. They still do. Israelis don't discriminate when it comes to taking land or for that matter threatening the lives of Christian Palestinians. They literally spit on them.
The Palestinian Lebanese and now Syrian Christians have no great tolerance for their Muslim neighbors....especially the Lebanese. I met a guy whose Dad was an Amal Commander - a Christian militia in Lebanon. They had intense dislikes for most of the Muslims and no love for the Israelis .
They blame the Israelis for the Muslim problems that they deal with.
He put it like this, Israel starts problems, then walks away from responsibility for the problem and looks to everyone else in the region.....and America to solve the problem for them.
