We are incapable of electing anybody who isn't a greasy, slimy, grifter, a drunk, or both.
I don't know what it is.

Surprised Houston Nutt hasn’t run for something

Did he win?
Yeah.
But it was a lot closer than it usually is in Alabama. Because he's such a horrible, stupid, a-hole candidate.

Houston was always good convincing blacks to do what he wants

I am so incredibly tired of hearing about this.
The only people talking about this a the utterly silly liberals who choose to live in Alabama for some reason, as if there aren't enough liberal frickup states for them to live in. MOVE. LEAVE. We don't want you and you don't want us. You could even go to Texas now as it seems like there are more of you there than we thought.
Also Tubes is one of the top 50 college coaches in terms of wins. The guy knows how to manage an enterprise. So nobody with a modicum of grey matter gives a shite that he can't name the branches of government. George W talked like a total retard and Obama was a huge closet racist, are you here posting on that every day??? No.
Get a life.
Disclaimer - I did not go to Bama, don't have some odd love for Tubes, just utterly tired of the dumbest talking point in Alabama.

I've met him a couple of times and he's honestly a very engaging individual. There's definitely a hint of shiester but he's an interesting person to talk to.

His margin of victory was worse than that of any other Republican running for statewide office, so there were a lot of people who voted for every Republican except him.
He also only won by about a 4% margin, while the Republican candidates for governor won by 37%, 19%, and 27% in the three previous elections. In a state where 70% of voters cast a straight-ticket ballot and a half-decomposed possum would probably be elected as governor if it had an "R" by its name, that's pretty pathetic. Those two facts alone give me some amount of pride in this state's electorate.
It's not just that Tuberville obviously knows nothing about government. He's corrupt, he's dishonest, and he's a person of low character. He has the political opinions of a Boomer great-uncle who spends 20 hours a day on Facebook, except your great-uncle probably has better critical thinking skills.
