No. What happens is I make a point, typically it's crystal clear.
People respond to that point by either bringing up something irrelevant (typically whataboutism), an attempt at digression, or a complete mis-statement of my position to create a straw man.
Then lots of time is spent correcting that initial rhetorical error, which leads to people trying to claim victory or alleging a "crawfish".
When I try to point this theme out by asking questions, they avoid answering.

This one was just funny because someone attempted a "gotcha" by linking a recent story that proves my argument exactly (that the government is re-labeling what was historically "prostitution" as "human/sex trafficking" to create emotional responses in people who will then clamor for more government to protect them)
The article was about a prostitution sting but it was labeled/titled "human trafficking". The obfuscation clearly worked, since it was posted here as an attempt at a "gotcha"
