I think his argument is that the people of Iran actually want to be "bombed into the stone age" to own the regime. I guess kind of true on a surface level? But I'm having a hard time believing millions of people want to starve to death if it means taking out the regime. Otherwise they would've risen up already, right?

What regime? He literally said in the same statement that we have achieved regime change and a more sane regime is in place now.
