Yeah, well, I've spent considerable time in the region of the world we are discussing. I feel like I have a unique point of view and they need to be dealt with forcefully.

I don't think you know what that word means

That remains to be seen

You could argue the opposite as well

I don't think anyone cares what you think. If you haven't noticed that from the amount of shite you get around here.

The Biden years really emboldened Powerman.

He was too much of a coward to reign in the Israelis

You sneered about him using the word "unique" to describe his experiences.

He spent a year over there. Who else in this thread has?

Crappy communication is the fault of the deliverer, not the audience.

I was thinking last week when Trump "extedned" their "deadline", how much isht we gave Obama for this Syrian "red line". Trump has done the same thing. And the SealTeam47 claps on!

Unique implies singular. There are literally hundreds of thousands of people that were deployed to the middle east. He does not speak for all of them.

He speaks for himself and does so poorly.

I bought my MAGA hat in August 2015. Ive sacrificed a tremendous amount for my conservative political beliefs.

Trump has turned into a raving lunatic.

I was pretty shocked by first reading of tweet. On second read I think he kind of has an out in that he’s using rhetoric that he’s going to impact a lot of the infrastructure that allows for “civilization” as opposed to wiping out a people like a Hiroshima or something.

I DO think if there is an attack it’s going to be a pretty big hit to their infrastructure.

Doubt it’s an ideal strategy. I guess we will see.

Thankfully he is so articulate and such a great communicator that you have to resort to all sorts of imaginary interpretations

Thanks Rohan. But it was definitely more than just a year over there.

Powerman probably can't comprehend life outside of his cubicle and what his Reddit friends tell him to believe.

My reasoning is that if the regime weathers today (especially if the bombing is as severe as we're implying), it's a rhetorical win for them.

It is likely some in the regime will survive whatever is coming. It is life or death for them within their own country. But they are bad people and will remain so unless we find a way to get rid of them. I have to hope there is more to the plan than blowing the country up.

If they survive, you are looking at the world to come. Allied with Russia, China and North Korea they will drag the free world for eternity.

Unless we have a way to get rid of them.

Brother...it's pretty much inevitable at this point. We'll make some targeted strikes and then he'll push the deadline back again

I dunno, Trump has so far followed through on his threats militarily. My guess is he is making these threats and now bombing Kharg island and maybe some other infrastructure before the deadline hoping they’ll then believe his outlandish threats and capitulate. If they don’t capitulate though I’m not sure where that leads us to
