I bet you said the same thing about the Epstein files. Which by the way, we are now seeing why the release is being handled the way it is.

Trust Trump!

It didn’t do that.

It literally just said he checked the wrong box. So now he just checks a different box, and its the same thing.

And its not “this place”, its your president who said it.

Try to keep up.

Luckily, most mature, responsible, tax paying adults have the intelligence to understand sometimes..... we can't always get EVERYTHING we want, when we want it.
Especially considering the impossibly enormous task of all Trump had to fa e off with in DC......., with a binch of weak arse bitches that is the GOP in Congress(which we the people elected).

Funny how the expansion of executive powers is unlawful now but was lawful under the previous three presidents.

And blame Congress all you want but Trump supports Johnson and Thune.

Trump "supports" Thune only because he has to to get anything done. If Trump said something against Thune, you would whine that Trump was "shooting himself in the foot" or committing an "unforced error" as you people have parroted a thousand times before.

You will always find a reason to bitch.

It's the same thing as Aliens. Someone asked him about aliens and he said he didn't know what to believe and now the breaking news is that Trump wants to deflect from epstein

Trump should just ignore them outright. Full Andrew Jackson.

The judiciary has literally no fricking business setting trade policy or interference in how the executive may choose to use economics as a weapon.

They didn't do this

Why have a Congress or Constitution, then? If you want no limits on the president.

Did you feel the same about Biden's vax mandate? Student loan forgiveness plan?

You’re using domestic examples which is literally the judiciary’s entire purpose.

They should have no say on anything that is essentially foreign policy, and being used for multiple purposes including leverage to get what we want yes but also good things for our people like re shoring our ability to manufacture.

Again, you’re bringing up domestic things

Have the three dissenting Justices that traditionally are the most strict constitutionalists lost all rationality too?

Yep. If you're gonna accuse someone of being under the influence of a foreign power — more projecting on Trump's part, by the way — you better know what you're talking about.

Course, that's not Trump's bag.

Statutory power is statutory power. The interpretation of that statutory power doesn't change whether it deals with international or domestic policies. The executive is limited to the power granted to it by Congress via statute, and the actions of the executive. Pursuant to this power cannot exceed the limitations of those specific statutes.

quote:

They should have no say on anything that is essentially foreign policy,

Well, the Constitution specifies that this authority originates from Congress. So until you change the Constitution, what you want and what reality is are two different things

quote:

Again, you’re bringing up domestic things

Why would would presidents be limited to the statutory authority granted to them domestically but not otherwise? Ignoring the constitutional issue and just as a matter of the delegated authority granted to the president by Congress

If your stance is that the president has unlimited power and can ignore both the Constitution and the statutory authority given to him by Congress. Then why do we pretend that there are any limits to executive power?
