I’ve yet to hear anyone make any good or compelling argument whatsoever why this should be any of their business or concern or have the ability to decide it

Two very simple concepts
1. The Constitution
2. Limited statutory authority confined to the specific authority granted in the statute

You apparently struggle with reading comprehension, sir. It has been stated repeatedly in multiple threads. You're pitching a childish hissy fit by putting your fingers in your ears and screaming, "I can't hear you!"

I am real sure Roberts is compromised. I am also conflicted since this decision really opened the door to more tariffs. Then again, it is why POTUS Trump is a billionaire for he certainly does not like wasting his time.

I’m not melting
Trump will wage his economic war regardless, even if it has to be done a little bit differently.
And I’m sure you’re technically correct here. Again, I’ve just yet to hear one person put forth why in practice they should have any say or input on economic and foreign policy the likes that amounts to soft power

You’re fantasy of me is wild
I just posted I’m sure slow is correct and this is legally correct. Wha I’m asking for is a practical reason they should be able to decide this issue

I'm strictly going by what you are showing here, no fantasy at all.
Carry on with whatever this is, though......

You are the biggest simpleton on the board lol I don’t even know if you know what you support

I'm sorry I got confused because you're promoting literally insane ideas like ignoring the Supreme Court ruling And then justifying it by basically saying that the executive should have unlimited powers and we should ignore the Constitution and role of Congress.
I don't know how I ever thought that you were melting considering that utter insanity

And I’m sure you’re technically correct here
I am technically correct, logically correct, philosophically correct , spiritually correct, and correct in every other way that you can imagine.
This is not a difficult concept and I don't know why y'all keep trying to make it more complicated than it is especially after what happened with Biden and how y'all reacted there.

You keep irrationally framing this argument in this way when it doesn't work and it's been explained to you multiple times. Again. Why would I ever think you're melting when you keep doing irrational emotional things like this? It truly boggles the mind of a rational person

Tell me,
Can they stop a blockade too if they wanted to? Trump is waging economic war to bring supposed friends to heel and put enemies in their place.
There’s a lot more hash ways he could go about this.

Well, the Constitution specifies that this authority originates from Congress.
What was stopping Congress from issuing something clarifying that the President was exceeding their express authority they intended under the statue under which he was opearting?
Why should the Supreme Court be more concerned about Congress's "authority" than Congress?
It seems to me the "separation of powers" argument starts to break down, when one branch ostensibly with power basically stops excercising it, or effectively abdicates it.

The number of people rooting against this because Trump did it is sad

On this board, that population is very small, if not 0

Sorry. Your hypocrisy is just amusing. The fact you couldn’t realize that….youre a simpleton.
Glad you could agree that Massie is a do-nothing all talk congressman, though.

That argument doesn't even work here. There are multiple other options already passed that Trump could have chosen, and is choosing now.
This weird talking point that we need the current Congress to do anything is only slightly behind the one saying "the Supreme Court ruled Trump can't issue tariffs"
And one of the reasons why Congress doesn't have as much to do outside of spending is they've passed so much government-expanding legislation already the past 100 years.

Sure, when their is an actual dispute between the branches.
Where was that here?

Exactly. I'm advocating for a framework that tells them THEY are the ones that need to reign it in, if that is what we want.
This one is a freaking cop out.
