Reagan ran against Mondale.
Mondale was from Minnesota
Additional note: Minnesota was also the same state that Voted Jesse Ventura Governor and put Al Franken in the Senate.

This contest should factor the mail-in ballots. So when the contest is over and the cookies are counted, the Democrats get to find out how many cookies they have to add to the Biden pile so that he wins.
