Why will he not reach independents?

ETA: you changed your post. Didn’t want to know the answer I guess.

Ask the alter patriot2023. I think he’ll reach independents just fine along with a boost from AA

How? You know they don’t give a shite that 2020 was stolen, right?

I think the only way he gets the independent vote is if he drastically tones down the “revenge” rhetoric. Looks like Trump’s doubling down on all of it, though. That’s a losing strategy, because we’ve SEEN it be a losing strategy.

The top 3-4 Republicans candidates who had the courage to debate could actually win. The issue is that Trump’s fanboys are weighing the party down and forcing losses. It’s time to move on.

For our sake I hope he isn’t.

I don’t think the primary is anywhere near as done as so many people say it is and posting threads about how done it is won’t change that.

Trump is running a basement campaign and 90% of all donations are going to his legal defense. There won’t be a chance to even attempt ballot harvesting or early vote efforts because there will be no money to spare. There’s a strange idea in MAGA folks heads that enough lawfare will eventually turn moderates, RINO, and never Trumpers over to your side but that just isn’t happening.

The data proves time and time again the only shot we have at winning a GE is with DeSantis at the helm. Outside of Twitter circles and sites like this, Trump isn’t universally popular and don’t get me started on Vivek.

Ahhh the primary loser can win the general argument. Throw that in with the elections are 100% on the up and up secure too. I think people could be overstating the independents argument. Especially since traditionally there's been a general idea of what that group is, but that profile may be changing. Lots of people aren't happy right now. Just need the right messaging, though that's been the Rights biggest issue as the GOP is worthless as a party.

No a primary loser can’t win general, that’s obvious because they can’t even compete in general.

Biden was losing until South Carolina. After the first three states, D’s were worried Sanders was winning and made agreements to have other moderates drop out. Sanders lost primary, and Biden beat Trump in the general. So yea, a primary loser can win the general.

I definitely dont believe Ron is the only one. Scott and Haley also have a good shot and maybe more.

First—I’ve said all along I prefer Ron but I don’t think he wins the primary. Second-I’ve answered you before since you ask that question every 5 minutes (again, talk about robotic). I think where Trump can’t reach independents, Ron can. His response to the hurricane and refusing to pussyfoot around with Trump on social media is what they want to see. Not “I’M WINNING” on repeat.

Ok. And? He shouldn’t be.

He will be. But he shouldn’t be. It’s ok to think different.

The fact that he already lost to Brandon before, as an INCUMBENT. That’s embarrassing and he’s hated even more now than he was in 2020.
