Its past time for some of you to take a deep breath and face reality.
Its going to be Trump.
The anti-Trump rhetoric does nothing to help Republicans in the general.
THE PRIMARY IS OVER.
Choose a team. THERE ARE ONLY 2 TEAMS.
Anti-Trump threads do nothing but hurt Republicans in the general, so each one of you smashing 45 are doing your part to re-elect Biden. Congrats.

Trump isn’t beating Biden and it’s not because of Rs on this board. It’s the moderates and independents that are going to destroy him.

Primary votes haven’t even started. Republicans don’t need to trot out a fossil who energizes democrats, moderates despise, and republicans overall aren’t excited about. It’s a recipe for failure. So no, you’re wrong. It’s time to move on to someone with an actual chance at winning the general election.

Ahhh the primary loser can win the general argument. Throw that in with the elections are 100% on the up and up secure too.
I think people could be overstating the independents argument. Especially since traditionally there's been a general idea of what that group is, but that profile may be changing. Lots of people aren't happy right now. Just need the right messaging, though that's been the Rights biggest issue as the GOP is worthless as a party.

You’re being played by Dems here. Trump will get trounced in 2024 if you trot that old losing fossil out there again.
As previously stated, Trump energizes Democrats, independents despise him, and Republicans overall aren’t overly enthusiastic about him. Trump is also very old and takes away one of the best argument to sway independents against Biden. He’s a big loser.
