Pence is a has been. In my humble opinion, Vance has not seriously distinguished himself apart from Trump. I am not sure he is the heir apparent. Maybe. But regardless and for example, in the run up to 2028 Rubio will likely resign as SOS to put together a run. Vance will be hamstrung by being VP and unable to separate himself from Trump. Oh I guess George HW Bush did it. By 2028 the country will want the next type of GOP candidate. Being like Trump will not get it. I like Vance but his recent memeing shows unseriousness. He needs to get serious about a run and the electorate he needs. And I would vote for him. I expect numbers of Rs running for the presidency. Maybe six?
