You guys will never get it. He says stuff like this so the lunatic left will make it a talking point. The echo chamber will have this sound bite on every news station, talk show and pod cast. All the paid creators will post about it.

You guys actually carried his message. Sure, 300 million didn't die but drug use is a serious problem and big business to people that hate us.

If he made the statement with the correct number, would his argument still hold weight? Are we criticizing him for a verbal typo or forgetting the actual number or is drug deaths not actually a problem?

By all means, help increase the engagement and broadcast the issue farther to get him on a mistake. Be sure to point out all the typos on his tweets while making sure as many more eyeballs as possible see his message.

He’s actually not even an American citizen.

He dupes everyone here and everybody falls for it.

Oh no! This means that we should open the borders again! He messed up a number! Let’s import 300,000 (see its thousand! I’m correct!) people who don’t speak English tomorrow!

Option three: don’t make foolish statements

You're right, but this board broadly eviscerated him every time he did.

There is extremely little intellectual honesty or ideological consistency here.

You sure?

If he isn't confident in speaking truthfully, that should raise some real big red flags.

The statistic is 300 per day in the United States is the number!! that we lose from overdose specifically fentanyl

Look it up

So it ends up being a little over 100,000 people right here in the United States

It wasn’t that long ago that the number was 200 per day but now it’s 300 per day

Does anyone know of a family member or a friend who struggles with drug addiction?

It is a situation where they are not themselves. The drug drugs have taken over and they have lost all self control and ability to discipline themselves off of it.

Once the hook is set, it’s often not a good ending

These guys are at the point though where they ain't listening any more.

Any criticism just cause further circling of the wagons.

You are dead on though.

Wow, I find it hysterical that ANYONE would think I was serious.

There are only 8 billion people on this planet. 300 million would be just under 4% of the planet's ENTIRE population. To think that many people would die from drugs is laughable.

That said, I do think that Trump just misspoke rather than using hyperbole.

Regardless, I have ZERO issue with what he did.

Last year I don't think 300,000 million people died from drugs. That's a lot of people.

Direct and indirect worldwide? Possible.

Including residual clot shot deaths?
Definitely.
