Christmas is a federal holiday. This country officially observes Christmas. "War on (any other holiday other than Christmas)" makes more sense. Don't be a professional victim.

There was never a concerted effort to remove references of Christmas from schools, public buildings and spaces. There were never any aclu lawsuits over Christmas either, nope. We've never seen the lyrics to Christmas carols changed on tv and radio to eliminate references to the Christian God. And in Europe, they didnt take down everything down to the christmas lights to appease the muslims. No sir, none of that happened. Nobody tried to shove Kwanzaa down our throats in the 90's either. Retail giants like Sears, best buy, home depot, and Target never stopped using the word Christmas in advertising. Nope, it's all made up.

There is no war on Christmas. Nobody gives a shite what you do on December 25, and even if they did, they would want you to do whatever it is that you like to do.
Ad campaigns are strategies to make money. If "Happy Holidays" sells more than "Merry Christmas," that isn't an act of war, and anyone who thinks it is is a giant narcissistic pussy just like the SJW he constantly bitches about. 1) I agree with you, "war on ___" is an overused term.
2) Of course a fair amount of what has happened with "Christmas" as a term is due to marketing and sales decisions.
However, if you are ignoring the hostile attitude that has infected portions of our society towards belief in God, Christianity, "Christmas" as a term, and so on, including some fearful (or hateful) marketing execs... I mean, please dude... you are WAY off here.
