And yet further wiping the shite stain that was Hussein Obama off of the history books.

President Donald Trump is outlining a new national security strategy that refocuses the United States' relationship with the rest of the world, essentially implementing his "America First" mantra on a global scale.
It envisions nations in constant competition, reverses Obama-era warnings on climate change, and affirms that the United States will unilaterally defend its sovereignty, even if that means risking existing agreements with other countries that have dominated the United States' foreign policy since the Cold War
quote:
The Republican president, who ran on a platform of "America First," will detail his plan Monday, one that if fully implemented could sharply alter U.S. international relationships. The plan, according to senior administration officials who offered a preview Sunday, is to focus on four main themes: protecting the homeland; promoting American prosperity; demonstrating peace through strength; and advancing American influence in an ever-competitive world

The last such strategy document, prepared by then-President Barack Obama in 2015, declared climate change an "urgent and growing threat to our national security." A senior official said the Trump plan removes that determination — following the administration's threat to pull out of the Paris climate accord — but will mention the importance of environmental stewardship
And yet further wiping the shite stain that was Hussein Obama off of the history books.

Not to belabor a point, but wasn't Climate Change originally identified as a threat by the Pentagon, then added by Obama to the strategy?
Department of Defense - 2015
Before anyone jumps to conclusions, I'm not saying they were or were not steered towards this statement. I'm just adding, for the sake of clarity, that technically it was the military that made this declaration.

We don't apologize anymore! We say merry Christmas instead!!!

That sounds dark and scary. What will the children think?

Trump's doctrine holds that nation states are in perpetual competition and that the U.S. must fight on all fronts to protect and defend its sovereignty from friend and foe alike. While the administration often says that "America First" does not mean "America Alone," the national security strategy to be presented by Trump will make clear that the United States will stand up for itself even if that means acting unilaterally or alienating others on issues like trade, climate change and immigration, according to people familiar with the strategy.
Wait a minute!! Are you telling me this a-hole has the audacity to look out for his own country first instead of the needs of every other country in the world? Unbelievable!
RESIST!!!
The United States is the most powerful, freeist and prosperous nation on Earth. It would be nice if we started acting like it and negotiating with other nations from that position of power.

The votes are there, bro. Even if they have to summon McCain back with a ouija board.

“List JUST ONE accomplishment that Trump has done!!”
- resident libs
They mean one accomplishment that agrees with Ob’s agenda.

Outstanding.
Trump wanting to present the case himself. Heard on tv this morning this is usually done by handing out the proposals to various people but seldom has a president ever presented it in a speech.

It sure does seem like it, and I wouldnt be surprised if it does indeed pass. That said, all high profile legislative battles this year have been incredibly close, just as this one is, and none have resulted in pen to paper for the president.

Looks like more rhetorical mumbo jumbo, and nothing will really change.

Apparently next time I should be rude and insulting in my post.

Interesting in that it doesn't really align with his aggressive stance taken towards NK.

When it is signed; Trump will have signed just as many pieces of legislation as that shite stain did in his first year! But shite stain didn’t have a major tax reform to add to his legacy!
Plus SCOTUS appointment
Federal judges
Kicking ISIS into submission
But you keep #resisting, Brosef!

This fact alone has turned me from a 'oh well, he is better than HRC' to a wholehearted supporter of him.
During the primaries, I just didnt trust he'd have the gonads to actually follow thru on his rhetoric. I didn't think he really wanted to win. I thought he was just gaining experience and exposure for a new reality show.
I was wrong - and have never been happier to have been proven wrong in my life!!
