Alaska has Fallen - Russian president starts fake war with neighbor, and co-conspirator, Ukraine in hopes of eventually luring the American president to the table in Alaska, where he abducts the US president claiming that the Alaska negotiations of old are null and void. The presidents estranged best friend, and tech multi billionaire, has to put an unconventional team together to rescue him because the Russians have already fortified their military assets in the region, and also revealed themselves as remnants of the former Soviet Union seeking world domination through rare natural resources only found in Alaska.

It has been an interesting week.
Monday: Putin says he is not scared of Trump's threats and he has not changed his ambitions and wants all of Ukraine.
Wednesday: Trump announces tariff on India for buying Russian oil and gas.
Friday: Putin agrees to meet with Trump to discuss peace and he has dropped his demands to just Crimea, Luhansk, and Donetsk oblasts.
I do not know about yall but I was expecting Russia to hold out until at least one of its trading partners got sanctioned and stopped trading with Russia. Russia's economy and/or the people's support for the war must be worse than we expect for Putin to give in even a little bit before the first effects of the tariffs are felt by Russia and/or its trading partners.

They sold it plain and simple. It was a losing proposition for them. They were losing money and couldn’t defend it. The British were right next door in Canada and could take it from Russia. They had the largest Navy in the world and Russia couldn’t stop them. Better to get money from a friend (America) than get nothing and lose it. In the 1860’s no one had a clue about the mineral resources there. The money was in trading with the natives for fur. The natives disliked the Russians but liked the “Boston men” who treated them better.
