In Minnesota, you have these luxury apartments that have been taken over by Dindus and immigrants. They have a state law where 16% of the housing units in any multifamily development have to be Section 8

And there are people there that champion more government and complain about apartment rent prices.

I do think it should be harder to own multiple SF homes. There should be some sort of larger tax on 2nd/3rd/4th homes.

There are HUGE property tax increase for 2nd/3rd/4th homes.

Drive through any poor neighborhood and look how well maintained their cars are. The cars are not subsidized. They bought them and they care for them. No one gives a shite about things they don’t actually own.

This will negatively impact more white people, especially since Hispanics are deemed by MSM white for any negative measure, but it will still be a debate about race.

“Race/Ethnicity: In Section 8, roughly 49% are White, 33% are Black, and 13% are Hispanic.”

‘bout damned time!!!!

I would remove ANY ABLE BODIED person from ANY federal (or state) assistance.

IF you are able-bodied then find a way to support yourself - or rely on friends & family for charity. Do NOT expect hard working tax-payers to support your lazy arse.

PLUS - no fat people should receive any food assistance.

Not in Louisiana. You just can't apply homestead exemption to other homes. The homestead exemption number of $75,000 hasn't been updated since 1980. Houses have nearly multiplied by 10x since then. Making the exemption almost useless, and a low barrier of entry for 2nd homes buyers.

Taxation is really the only possible deterrent aside from making it illegal.

I have no problem with housing assistance if they are housed in less desirable locations. Hell, you could buy all of New Orleans East for a few million and put the subsidized houses there.

Not as a percentage if the population..blacks make up 12% of the general population and 33% here..a MUCH higher percentage.

Yea, forcing low income housing into nice neighborhoods just ruins the nice neighborhood.

Good it seems every week they are building a new gated section 8 subdivision. 3 bedroom 2 bath houses with a double carport and outdoor storage, then these people get discounted utilities, what they refer to as food stamp Wi-Fi, and a shite ton of food stamps and they destroy these houses

That sounds like fraud… how could those people own and keep up a farm? If I’m not mistaken they ask you what assets you own on the welfare application?

They dont own farms, or anything of value. They like in trailers or shacks. The "town" died years ago but there are a couple of vacant storefronts. They sit there and drink beer all day. Some of the most worthless people alive. I dont understand how anyone could willingly live that way. They are dirt poor, but healthy enough to find a job. But they would rather drink beer and smoke weed all day.

Section 8 is paying way over market rent in Dallas and SFR companies have been buying up homes in nice neighborhoods and moving section 8 tenants into these neighborhoods.

So glad this is ending.
