Since 1981 there have only been SIX years where republicans didn’t hold one of the house, senate or WH

I don’t think this is true.

Some people haven't learned from our Social Security System that the balance of payments at the end of the year doesn't care where the revenue comes from.

Farmers love the profit when things go well. When things go badly, they want their losses to be subsidized.

The US government has been subsidizing farmers since 1933. Call it socialism, but it’s nothing new.

I’m not against subsidizing farmers because I view them as a vital part of national security. If anyone deserves a helping hand from the government, it’s them.

On top of that, every single entitlement program can be considered “socialism”. Our current tax system, or any system that’s not a flat tax, is technically “socialism”, if you define the term as redistribution of wealth. I’m a pro-capitalism small government conservative, but I admit that *some* redistribution is necessary to serve the people.

It is. This is just more socialism.

I love how MAGA uses socialism to support adding more socialism.

Nope, that's not what's happening at all.

This is a direct result of Trump's asinine tariffs on China. Don't believe me? Go back and look at his first term. The exact same thing happened with Tariffs 1.0.

I think the farmer bailout was around 28 Billion by the end of his first term. Directly caused by the tariffs.

There are indeed a bunch of those people around here, but strangely, they all appear in mirrors. I'll bet you could see one if you looked in the mirror nearest to you right now.

I’m simply acknowledging that it’s a continuation of decades-old policy. And the word “socialism” doesn’t scare me because there are a million things that can be defined as a redistribution of wealth. It’s not the gotcha that you think it is.

Those statements are so vague as to be able to mean anything, but let's say you're right.

This bailout isn't about that. It's a direct result of the Chinese tariffs. I posted a link substantiating that opinion.

You got one for yours?

Of course it doesnt bother you.

Its just hilarious that you populists decided to hijack the Republican party to spread your wealth redistribution.
