Yes. They’ll essentially be acting as bullet sponges and bait for the Iranian missile and drone forces. Every missile that goes at them will not be headed towards shipping in the strait. Every time the Iranians shoot we'll have the opportunity to find its point of origin and destroy degrading their capability more every day. It’ll also provide the opportunity to emplace air defenses even closer to Iranian homeland and deny the enemy positions from which to observe and fire upon the strait.
