Generally, I would agree with you.
However, this is one of those rare exceptions.
The establishment of a pro-west secular government in Iran would be the biggest geo-political event since 9/11 and the collapse of the Soviet Union.
If some air and drone strikes give the protestors an edge and gets this thing done, then we should do it.

The whole Greenland thing is a minor thing that is a big distraction from momentous issues like Venezuela, Iran and Cuba.

Where does that end? What if takes boots on the ground?
There have been other events where governments have killed their people and we've done nothing. Those were just barely if at all covered on the news.
I'm not opposed to helping, for the record. I'm interested in getting a barometer on where people draw the line in terms of help. And also how do we help them not become another failed state once we leave?
