There were some early reports from an American fluent in Chinese that the virus was discovered 600 KM south of Wuhan in bats that had infected a few people in a small village.
The bats and the virus were part of a SARS research effort in a less than secure lab.
Scenario two is that like the NIH bad idea to fund gene splicing to see if coronavirus could jump to humans, it could be that.
If China had designed a bioweapon, they would have had a vaccine for their own people first otherwise it is suicide.

It is much more believable it can from a lab than their story of it being the plot to the movie Contagion.

It really does baffle me that more liberal politicians never got the rona. Especially Pelosi. I thought Old drunken alkies were the first to get it.

The UK paper seems to be shaping the headline in a few ways.
Putting it on the Trump team and not the United States State Dept.

Making it a cheap sleazy claim
As with anything yeah we have all known this but show the proof.
