The irony of all of this, however, is that you goose-steppers have no issue placing “environmental fees (taxes)” on American businesses, which are then passed onto the consumer.

Just like Sin tax, Fuel tax and tobacco taxes.

Right liberals love to criticize and contort who is paying for the tariff. In their shallow minds they can’t see any farther than the “person at the dock buying the goods”
These are the same people who have 0 problem with voting for property taxes to pay for their pet projects when most of them have no property or are homestead exempt. Then they can’t figure out why business doesn’t move into their communities. I guess foreign countries are negotiating and fighting the tariffs for the US taxpayer,

Why are foreign governments upset about American tariffs?

Along with coffee and orange juice, just to name few items
Honestly, US orange juice consumption has drastically decreased over the past decade and Brazilian coffee doesn’t dominate the market here.
Moreover, Brazil accounts for less than 3%
of goods imported by the U.S.

Trump tariffs are paid by Americans according to Bessent
Anyone dumb enough to buy the products should pay the tariffs. Point in case

The problem with Switzerland,” Trump told reporters the next day, is “we have a $40 billion deficit with Switzerland. … That’s a big deficit.” He repeated the claim in an Aug. 5 interview on CNBC, increasing the purported deficit with Switzerland to $41 billion. Recounting his phone call with Swiss President Karin Keller-Sutter, Trump said he told her, “We have a $41 billion deficit with you, madam. … And you want to pay 1% tariffs.
We have a massive deficit with Switzerland, only because they jack up the prices on luxury items. We are their #1 exporter.

U.S. goods trade deficit with Switzerland in 2024 was $38.3 billion, a 56% increase over the previous year.
We arent buying more luxury goods from the Swiss, they are just jacking up the prices. Other countries arent paying these same prices. Especially on drugs. Yet Americans are still buying at the inflated prices. Let these idiots pay the tariffs also

Coffee, tea, and spices
Works of art, collectors' pieces and antiques
Tools, implements, cutlery of base metal
Beverages, spirits and vinegar
Ever ask yourself why they want to know if you are bringing in certain goods from other countries? Its to keep you from buying a cheaper priced good, then bringing it to the US for resale. Its a scam, to protect exporters

Not if the manufacturer drops its price by 50 or less %

Since the tariffs include steel and lumber and concrete, that means anybody who buys anything.
Including a house.

Do you buy anything that contains, I dunno, a screw? Tariff. Or any basic components? Tariff.
Just because the finished product says “made in America” doesn’t mean it is, and in all likelihood is made of things made elsewhere.

Wait until you find out most of your "American made products" contain many foreign components,
Cheap imports have helped the lives of the working class more than welfare.
