You're strange. I look forward to reading your posts once Desantis does the obvious and suspends his campaign. It'll be hilarious.

Biden isn’t going to be the nominee. The guy you admire will be.

If that's the case, good job on your buddy for giving him a platform and free debate. Amazing job! Best campaign ever.

Yes, DeSantis is so influential he handpicks the DNC nominee and provides a larger platform just with his presence than being the governor of California.

You are incredibly smart.

You're hilarious. The pretzel logic is astounding. I wonder what your explanation will be when Desantis fades away and concedes. Do you think he would do the honorable thing and back Trump or do you think he'll be spineless like yourself and maybe no back anyone at all? Time will tell and I'm here for it because man, it'll be hilarious to see play out.

DeSantis will be both more gracious than he should be and more gracious than Trump would be in the same situation.

Here's hoping. The most important thing that has to happen is the democrats can not win. Never trumpers must come around and Desantis will be a great catalyst for that action.

Another reason why it's such a poorly run campaign. Those who support Trump also supported Desantis until Desantis started his campaign. Now they have soured on him. Similarly, Never Trumpers flocked to Desantis because he's a sensible republican and he's not Trump. Once Desantis bows out and backs Trump, he will sour the NeverTrumpers as well. Both parties will feel betrayed and his political career will wither and die on the vine.

Such a shame. All he had to do was wait till 2028, but he got some terrible advice.

You don’t have to hope. You can look at his past actions and how he conducts himself. There’s literally nothing there to suggest he will be anything but gracious. And he’s already made it clear that he will support whoever is the nominee, unlike Trump.

DeSantis is an odd duck. He is pretty awkward speaking. It isn't what you would expect from the average holding a cum laude JD from Harvard for 20 years but he has very limited trial experience with only 2 years as a SAUSA. He just isn't as polished as you would expect. It appears his handlers tried to change him for the campaign but he just doesn't have it in him. He is likely the most classical conservative polling well enough to be on the big stage but he is overshadowed by Trump's brash populism and CV that has a 4 years stint as POTUS on it.

I think Ron would be a much more effective conservative president than Trump but for a number of reasons he isn't able to crack the MAGA block. I think the reality is a large part of the most faithful DJT supporters simply aren't nearly as conservative as they think they are.

He can’t crack the MAGA block because Trump told them his wife faked cancer and they should hate him.

That’s it. That’s the reason. Before that, they all loved him.

Are you still talking, Commie?

Oh, he'll run in 2028. But so will Trump's 82-year-old arse, and we'll hear the same thing: "Such a shame. All Ron has to do is wait until 2032."

Lose, rinse, repeat.

He will end up at some think tank or head some obscure conservative group that no one knows about and can still cash a check for the rest of his life in obscurity like a certain other PT favorite former governor from Louisiana turned presidential candidate that was a local darling at one time but couldn’t catch fire nationally.

I’m amazed at how superficial most Americans are. I’m also amazed at how short Americans’ memories are. I’m also amazed at how stupid most Americans are.
