Trump has about 30% chance of winning, Desantis has about a 1% chance.

If Trump is the nominee, Desantis will need to show up to the convention with a full throated endorsement of Trump or he can retire from politics.

If Desantis is the nominee and Trump refuses to do the same, likely, or is denied a speaking opportunity at the convention, Desantis has no chance.

I'm not saying either of these actions by either candidate are right, wrong, petty, stupid or indifferent. I'm just asking you to look forward and see how this is likely to play out no matter who wins.

What you're saying is Trump is no different than a hostage taker

He is in a no win situation absent Trump in the graveyard.

So Democrats will be in power until Trump is dead.

Do you not realize how fricking crazy that is?

You scammers and grifters don't give a frick about this country. You're loyal to one person, who convinced you that he was one of you, and now you've been sent out to try spreading your disease. You actually believe that a New York liberal and a coward is out there fighting for the American people. It's pathetic. You're watching him frick over this country and begging for more. I can't think of a better example of a bunch of cucks.

Every federal election that has taken place since 2016.

Regardless of GOP candidate the federal election dynamic does not change in 2024. Best case is Trump. Most of MAGA becomes disinterested and stays home without Trump. Furthermore Trump is the only one talking about implementing the SoCal GOP strategy of ballot harvesting in the states were it is legal, AZ, WI, MI and PA. Don't have to worry about GA this cycle, ballot harvesting is illegal in GA now but it's important to keep an eye on GA Democrat early voting tactics and at least match them.

One poll not necessarily trash and not invaluable. But the aggregate and general trendlines of all polls is valuable.

OK. And what do those polls show us outside the Republican primary?

If that is accurate: Initially, they said that !Jeb! outperformed everybody in the GE.

Ron will be like Romney & McCain fighting for Ohio.

Have Ron announce a Rally in Pittsburgh PA or even Scranton PA and we will see who shows up.

Who said that?

Tell me how Desantis beats Trump?

Tell me how he beats Trump and also keeps the entire MAGA base behind him.

It's an impossible needle to thread and you are seeing it plainly this week.

This war is the Democrat script, divide Republicans and make both non viable.

My position has always been either these 2 guys worked something out or both were dead and here we are.

So why would Desantis mess with it? It makes no sense for his future.

You are so smart, lay it out for me.

I see 2 options for Desantis because they are the only shots at Republican unity.

1. Trump in federal prison but why would Democrats want to help Republicans in this way.

Or

2. Trump dead.

Who is this "we" exactly? "We" are now enemies with your limpwristed team.

And please tell Ron thank you for poisoning the well b/c after his idiotic statements this week, MAGA would never vote for him. Nor would I.

"But he told Disney off!" He literally has a city with a curfew right now. Let that sink in.

Desantis will need to get behind Trump at some point if he wants a future in Republican politics.

It would help if he did it now.

He just can't defeat Trump.

The more aggressive he is with Trump the more MAGA votes he loses.

He's non viable in 2024.

If Trump is nominated he almost certainly loses to Biden again, and then DeSantis can just run in 2028.

Ron’s fan club has a higher than normal cuck ratio. I guess they take after their idol.
