“I don’t want people to be evicted,” Trump said, while speaking at a news conference on Monday evening. He said it’s “not their fault” that “they’re thrown out viciously.”
“They oftentimes will go to a shelter with tremendous numbers of other people, and the virus will spread, and we don’t want that.”
He added that he could suspend the collection of payroll taxes through executive order.
“So we’ll be talking about that, but we’re having a very good discussion with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer,” the president said, referring to the top Democratic lawmakers in the House and Senate.

Why not just use an order to open everything up? Let people decide for themselves if they feel safe to go to a bar/restaurant/movie theatre/church

I own rental properties and still have to pay the bank. This has put owners in a terrible bind because people know they don't have to pay. They're supposed to pay at the end of this, but what will happen is everyone that has a large lump sum due will just move to another place and start anew there.
Unless the banks are told to stop collecting, this is bad news.

He should extend unemployment payments. If the dems take him to court it will not sit well with the people out of work. Don't give a crap of it is legal or not. The Russia Hoax wasn't legal either. A lot of things Barry did were illegal.I am sure John Roberts will find some rationale to make it legal.
