Once the true stories become public, everyone will know how unprepared this administration was.

Why not blame hospital systems, city officials, and state officials for medical shortage?

Take some fricking initiative and don't wait for the feds to wipe your arse for you.

I held my Mayor President accountable over the airwaves last week regarding supplies. His reply to my request for “numbers of tests available at the Lafayette site on DayOne of testing?”...”there is a shortage all over the country”.

Supplies in emergency rooms may become a litmus test of how this Task Force is actually performing.

They are too busy ignoring the fact, Chinese ventilators are being rushed into the country now that the “trade war” game-master has had to bend to a knee and lift tariffs.

My wife is an ER nurse, and as much as I want to believe that someone would be genuine in appealing to the masses like this, I have to wonder why she didn't go up the chain in the hospital's administration. She didn't mention that at all. It just feels like we're not getting the whole story here, or it feels like an emotional appeal rather than trying to go a more effective route.

Based on what my wife is seeing, it really is best to stay home if you can. She wouldn't tell people not to go to the grocery store or get takeout, but she'd recommend limiting unnecessary social activity right now. The respiratory patients are starting to come in more frequently now.

Interestingly, the Democrat who yelled "You will see darkness" from the House floor is from a district in Detroit.

Coincidence?

They did and Trump was briefed. He decided to not give it priority.

She worked a full shift at her home hospital, then was asked to work another shift at another ER room that was overwhelmed (which she did without sleep).

She said a family member asked her to record this for other members of her family and friends.

She also said that she had never recorded any other video on YouTube or Instagram.

I'd be interested to hear your wife's reaction to this video. It went viral, but that was never her intention.

I might ask her tomorrow. She worked a shift today and I'm not asking her to watch it this late.

This is what I meant by flexing (working at another hospital). If they asked her to work another shift without sleeping, she was potentially endangering patient care.
