re: Trump schedules Rally in New Hampshire for Sunday

The typical New England democrats I know are disgusted with the current state of the democrat party. Whether or not they'll actually vote for Trump is another matter, they'll likely just not vote. Or, maybe there's a rep or senate seat in play that his rally is intended to influence?

Manchester, NH is only about 30 miles as the crow flies from ME-2, so this is kind of a two-fer.
Good thinking. He did this with Virginia/North Carolina. I think he needs to make another stop to that area again before the election, too.
I think Virginia will be a lot closer than people think. And obviously North Carolina will be pretty close, as well.

Good observation. Pence was in Hermon, Maine the other day
Eric Trump and Pence both recently had rallies in New Hampshire as well.

Unfortunately they haven't hit Minnesota at all. Eric Trump was there but that's been the only major campaign event. They're putting all the resources into Pennsylvania/Michigan/Wisconsin.

I think it's a smart move to rally in NH. If TRUMP can win NV + AZ (and none of the Rust Belt states except OH), he could win if he won NH + ME-2.

It can be very confusing considering how the media is treating this. It is a much different time than usual as well.
I think you have to take the total picture of things going on and not the polls. Trump would not be saying MN is his if he wasn’t confident he could deliver on it. His campaign stops are mostly in key states, I think a stop here or there in Macon is just a nice place to stop on the way back to DC.
Then you look at down ballot races and as you pointed out people voting all over the map isn’t going to happen, this will be a straight forward voting year.
I also think the early voting totals flatten out plus it’s hard to say how many dems are now trump fans and didn’t switch parties.
I think it is all good signs for trump plus things like the market indicate he wins.

This seems to be a big part of what Trump is campaigning on at this point.

Where is Joe’s schedule?

The MN piece is interesting, he hasn’t been in a while but has repeatedly said it is his.

Trump was up in Duluth after the last debate. An incumbent Dem that had a double digits lead has seen it evaporate and us now neck and neck with the GOP challenger. Minny is turning RED and it's all due to the rioting in Minneapolis. That rioting stuff did not play well with most Minnesotans who are really good people. They are also sick of their Democrat Governor.
Trump has delivered for the Iron Range and the farmers too. He's got outstate MN wrapped up and the MSP suburbs are turning RED.

Unless they start scheduling rallies/events in Minnesota it doesn't seem like it's in play.
Here's the total campaign stops since the restart of the campaign post Covid
Pennsylvania - 19
Florida - 13
North Carolina - 13
Michigan - 11
Arizona - 8
Ohio - 8
Wisconsin - 6
Nevada - 5
Georgia - 5
New Hampshire - 3
Iowa - 3
Minnesota - 1
Maine - 1

I feel like I have some insight onto this seeing as I spent a ton of time in MN and know the people. They honestly might have data that suggest Trump rallies hurt him as much as they help him in a state like MN.
"Minnesota Nice" is a real thing and I know we're all okay with him talking bluntly about Somalis, but IMO he kind of crossed their line at his last major rally there and turned off some moderate white women.
I think he can still win MN and maybe just keeping it under the radar and hoping the riots and destruction and flipping the rural areas more into his favour can bank that state.
The electorate in OH, PA, FL, MI and NC are more amenable to his rallies than the electorate in MN is.

Covid is also impacting the number of college students in states like Vermont, NH and Maine. A lot of their students come from states like Massachusetts, New York and Connecticut.

I foresee the last rally in Michigan just like last time.
I remember thinking wtf. Why waste time in Michigan. Lol

Obviously. I enjoy your post style but you have been another Magician2 level poster when it comes to Trump

He has to have some internal polling that is so out there if he is heading to NH.
I would love to see his internal polls
He had a rally in February that was twice the size of all the Democratic rallies combined. Granted a lot has changed since then, but I think he has a chance.

i was shown some internal early voting data in key Wisconsin counties by someone connected to the Trump campaign and all i can say is its looking damn good for Trump. He's winning key counties with 60-65% as of 10/18. Was also told Ohio and Florida is looking very very strong as well.

It's crazy that Eric Trump even drums up more enthusiasm at rallies than Hiden Biden.

Early returns in Maine and NH will tell us a lot about how the night will go
