He may have been more concerned with civil suits, or the crown may have put his arse in time-out and told him to stay there and that was his excuse. Don't know, I just know that he did it and he claims it was self-imposed unless every article I saw was fabricating the same stuff.

I personally believe he thinks hes telling the truth and that hes being fed garbage by the DOJ but the end result here is the same.
