Yea and lebron needs to get out of basketball for the hood of the league. Not because I don’t like him but because he is a threat to the team I root for.

I’m not quite that emotionally invested to view it along those lines, as you apparently do. Why would the candidate and his supporters even bother with pleading with an opponent who, if anything, continues to lose ground? There’s no other reason for Trump’s words there than their plain meaning - exactly what they say. But back to my own initial point, a genuine one, it’s looking more and more like RD’s window for 2024 is closing, so why should he not consider the future, and how current actions are quite possibly affecting that?

Why has he not asked:

Nikki Haley
Mike Pence
Vivek Ramaswamy?

We know Trump is doing this because Desantis changed gears and is kicking arse this week.

Wait. I thought DeSantis was an Establishment/Swamp/RINO/Nazi/Cannibal/Warlock according to our Trump and our resident faux-Conservative retards.

So, if he were to just not run until 2028, then he would magically not be an Establishment/RINO/Swamp/MeatballRob?

These people so SOOOOO fricking STUPID!!!!

So, let's say 2024 "looks" fishy as well, and Trump says he was cheated again, and you believe him. Will you support him in 2028?

The fact you think that I and others needed Trump to tell me the 2020 election was stolen is hilarious. I reject that premise completely. I watched it all unfold: the 2am election night dumps of ballots, waking up to an impossible Biden comeback, illegally changing the voting rules in several swing states, not allowing republicans to oversee the election centers, the ballot harvesting/2000 mules videos, the suppression of the Hunter laptop, banning The sitting president from social media, etc

I came to the conclusion it was rigged on the morning after election night before many states were ever certified. And no is ever going to convince it was legit. That’s just how I feel about it. No one in their right mind believes Biden got 81 million votes.

And no, I will not support Trump in 2028 if he loses in 2024.

DeSantis had to overcome Trump to get the governorship, now he owes him something?

Think of all those other potential good conservative leaders, now and in the past, who weren’t able to overcome Trump and never go their shot.

DeSantis would uplift downballot races, not be an anchor. DeSantis at the top would not only give us the Presidency, but advance conservatism at all levels throughout the country.

Desantis got a bump directly after the Debates when he lit Gillum on fire, and was still expected to lose because it was a Blue Wave year.

Almost every other major Trump endorsed candidate got their teeth kicked in

Interesting blurb from the Florida Times-Union on RDS's primary win after Trump's endorsement -

In toppling the Putnam political machine, DeSantis continues a string of victories by outsider anti-establishment GOP candidates that dates back to Gov. Rick Scott’s primary win in 2010 and continued in 2016 with Trump’s victory over U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio in Florida’s presidential primary.

Let's say you watch the same thing unfold, again.

Exactly the same. Hell, lets make it more obvious that they cheated, just 100% blatant.

Trump runs again in 2028.

is he your guy? Why not? Whats the difference between 24 and 28? He was cheated both times, worse in 28.

To be fair statistics say that Trump will be dead by 2028, he will be 82 and well past life expectancy. Don't wish it on him at all but time always wins.

Too funny

Too bad he became a globalist establishment cuck all of a sudden in November 2022 for some unknown reason

You can’t use some inference and intuition to answer the question of why he hasn’t done same with those other candidates? C’mon man. The answer, more or less, is simply that they don’t and never were going to represent a legitimate threat as primary contenders. Most of the “pundits” agree that they’re in it for various alternative reasons.

Ah.

So Ron is a threat, therefore vicious, false, abhorrent attacks are fair game, AND he should drop out for the good of the party, even though by your own admission...

He has a chance of winning.

By that logic: Trump should drop out for the good of the party and endorse Ron, the younger man by 30 years, who isn't under 3 indictments, and Trump should be the Senior Advisor behind the scenes guiding the young pup.

I do think that Trump helped DeSantis in the primary. He went from being ahead early on to dropping into the teens in May/June and then taking the lead again after Trump’s endorsement. Would he have won the primary without Trump’s endorsement? Possibly but it would’ve been tight.

With that said the whole “I got DeSantis elected” statement is weak.

You guys running away from Trump endorsement is revisionist history and pretty funny.

He was upside down in the Republican primary, Trump then endorsed and began a much more “aggressive” campaign on RD’s behalf - then the polls completely flipped and the challenger was then upside down.

It’s fair to say trump possibly helped in the primary. Putnam was in 5he lead early.
