I had to hire someone to do my taxes, and mine are not near as complicated as Trumps.

That has been proven by most people with the last tax kerfuffle over how his dad transferred money to him growing up.

Most of the negative Nancy's on this topic either dose turbo tax or hires H&R block or some tax person to do their taxes. Which usually consists of one job and less than 100,000 per year. Yes I think I'd have a decent chance due to my education in accounting. Here's how it would likely go down.

Trump *personally* probably reported remarkably little income or tax to pay. He goes around (well, used to, nudge nudge) managing his properties at company expense. Due to how tax laws are written he can live the high life and claim very little income, which he's understandably interested in hiding.

Let's say he owns 51% of Trump International Hotel in wherever. He travels out there for an inspection tour, completely paid for by the company that he owns. Meals, a company helicopter, Stormy to keep him company at night - it's all paid for by the company.

Theoretically, he pays capital gains tax one day when he sells his ownership stake. Of course, he never will sell. Meanwhile, the company expenses all this.
