It doesn't really compute that the United States can sign a deal with Iran to give Iran a 3.5% ownership of all oil that passes near its coastline. The United States does not own that oil and neither does Iran. Neither the United States nor Iran own the Strait of Hormuz.
It seems that Trump is negotiating with Iran on a plan to sanction international piracy.

Woohoo we got em down to 3.5% which is 3.5% higher than what they were charging before all this began.Oh and that 3.5% doesn't pertain to Russia or China they will continue to be able to use the strait freely. Please tell me this post is sarcasm because you can't really see this as a win

Normally, that's probably true. And normally you don't try to time the market.
