He’s punching from the left. You just don’t want to see it so you won’t.

Trump can frick off saying shite about Covid. He let Fauci and the minions run the show. He could have said “we are not recommending shutting down the cities”. He didn’t. He put them on camera spouting their shite. He needs to sit this one out.

Please explain the basis of your assertion that Trump has so aggressively moved to and is now a solid leftist. Thanks

He believed governing Conservatively doesn’t work.

He believes the tax fairness of NY and Cali is superior to Florida.

He thinks anyone concerned with the long term viability of SS or Medicare is pushing an old lady in a wheelchair off a cliff.

I hope this helps.

“Punching from the left”

“Lurching to the left”

“Moving to the left”

Whichever terminology one uses, the central concept is what I’m asking about.

You have had infinite answers. It’s a phenomenon that many have noticed.

It’s really not even a question. He thinks he needs to be seen as a centrist as opposed to Desantis, ie Left.

DeSantis had full control to end that EO and the others listed by them. He did not do that until June 2021.

When did Trump end the Federal declaration of emergency?

Local governments closed beaches after Trump’s “15 days to slow the spread.”

Desantis was getting hammered in the media for not closing beaches statewide.

This is exactly how I remember it as well (I live in Ft. Walton). There were several articles and posts on various media from leftists freaking out about the beaches in FL being open and crowded, while Alabama closed Gulf Shores and Orange Beach beaches.

Some beaches in FL were closed by Dem local authorities and governments, but even that didn't last long

The guy has routinely used Cuomo as a fricking barometer, has used bullshite raw data numbers like CNN did for two years that we all knew was bullshite, and is posting about equity taxation to try and make a red hot state look bad.

Trump would do himself a lot of good to stop being a bitch and start running on some actual substance.

Operating under Desantis's order. That's why you the the "whereas" along with that order from his desk

Dumbass, "Desantis' order" was declaring a state of emergency due to COVID just like every other state governor. It says so literally right in the text you copy & pasted.

He never ordered beaches to be shut down

He let local governments make that decision, and as such there were a couple of Dem strongholds that shut theirs down.

Now do Trump's COVID policy.

It's all fricking stupid anyway, why are we basing ANYTHING off COVID response from 3+ years ago? Not one politician or authority has a spotless record when it came to COVID, literally everyone made mistakes.

Why are we letting this shite from 3 years ago determine anything regarding our future? It's petty and immature, AND DOESNT frickING MATTER ANYMORE. I don't know if you're aware, but we have much bigger issues here in 2023

So then isn’t that more accurately described as more towards the middle than Desantis? If that’s the case then what we have is yet more unhelpful hyperbolic language, be it from one camp or the other.

Do you not understand the significance of per-capita data? NY was #2 in death rates per capita. Florida was #25. Florida's over 65 population is >21%. NY's is 17.5%. That is meaningful factual data. Comparing gross numbers out of meaningful context is the kind of thing that dems specialize in.

Spot on. This kind of craziness is why i flipped to BDR. I only came back to Trump after he was indicted. I an liable to flip back and forth a few more times at this rate

It’s from the left of DeSantis. Not sure how that’s hard to misconstrue as badly as you’ve done.

Because no one to the right of center is correctly described using the word “left” at all, unless it’s for hyperbolic purposes. Do you not think there’s somebody further to the right than Desantis? The answer to that being yes, should we use the term “left” in comparison to describe him?

Except Trump is using leftist talking points to attack DeSantis, including his “inequitable” tax structure in Florida.

You’re swinging hard. But they’re not pitches over the plate, man.

Breathe, son. Breathe.

You're hurting your position by appropriating leftist tactics and characteristics
