If China gained a trillion a year over the next ten years and we saw roughly half of the growth we shown since 2012 we'd still be 3 trillion ahead of China.

Hey, different strokes for different folks.....but you guys get a little wierder every day.

This "show 'em whose boss" theme sure comes up a lot in Trump supporters' posts. Is there something you'd like to say?

Trump didn't say this - an unnamed source implied that he thinks it.

Fix your thread title

You ignore the fact that the US will crash the global economy, permanently kicking out the legs from under China soon.

Okay, I'll say it. Have you figured out how the Russians hacked into the electrical grid via Burlington Electric yet?

I'll say it

Liberals are fricking idiots who look at Wild success and think it will continue if they frick with all of the things that allowed the wild success

The proper response of the lead dog when the trail dogs can't keep up is to tell the trail dogs to copy the lead dog. It's not for the lead dog to slow the frick down

Europe wants the United States to fund it and the world's catch up plan so they can continue doing the things that are keeping them from Catching up.

It's the same as their approach to the military. They hand out goodies to their citizens and then claim they can't afford to cover their requirements. Of course the only reason they can do this is because the US is covering their requirements

It's about time the lead dog told the rest of the world to shite or get off the pot

Trump was under great pressure to stay in. But he kept his word to the American worker and tax payer in the end. The man has a backbone and his heart is in the right place.

The world's most powerful military force does not diminish world power rapidly.

Try again.

How so? World power is not dictated by other countries liking you. In 1940, Germany was the world power, but you would be hard pressed to find a lot of countries that liked them.
I don't care if other countries like us or not. I don't know why so many liberals are so obsessed with people liking us.
Our economy is the best in the world and will be for the foreseeable future. To crown China king of economies right now seems a bit premature. japan was predicted to become the big hitter just a few short years ago.
quote:

Even if you're a climate change denier (because you like to see liberals angry),

Most are not Climate Change deniers as much as asking for proof that man is the largest cause, and that man can actually make a huge difference. Why liberals insist on reframing the argument is dishonest.
quote:

you can't ignore the impact this has on our international standing and our ability to be perceived as world leaders.

Again....are you really that concerned about perceptions? maybe you should concentrate more on reality. And, if you want the reality to be that the US is the world power, we have to get our economy and other problems straightened out.
You seem to be under the impression that to be a world power and respected, you have to pay everybody off and go along with what everybody else thinks is right.

Leaders don't follow. They lead.

Bridges to nowhere

From the Middle East to Russia to Asia, President Obama’s foreign policy has left the U.S. in a weaker position than when he took office, analysts say.

As Mr. Obama prepares to depart the White House, U.S. relations with traditional allies such as Israel and Saudi Arabia have frayed badly, Moscow is exerting its power increasingly in Syria and in Eastern Europe, and even the U.S. relationship with Western Europe has been called into question. On his watch, U.S. influence has diminished in all of those regions.

“I can’t really think of any concrete success that President Obama’s had in terms of foreign policy,” said Nile Gardiner, a foreign affairs analyst at the conservative Heritage Foundation. “You can point to an overall weakening of American power on the world stage and an eroding of key alliances.”

President Obama’s approach was extraordinarily naive in the Middle East,” said Mr. Gardiner, a former aide to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. “He also failed to combine his optimism with any hard power. That really enabled a number of very dangerous actors to emerge and to threaten directly the United States and its allies. It isn’t very clear that the Obama White House has any real strategy for eradicating ISIS. It’s a containment strategy; it’s not one of victory.”

Here's some news that not many people acknowledge BUT we, as a nation, are not exactly loved around the world now......our contributing even more money to less wealthy nations ain't going to help that in any way. We already pay for all of the worlds security....why in the frick would we also pay for their clean air?

My problem is that the money we just saved will be used to cut taxes so more jobs can be moved overseas. If those jobs were created here I say frick Paris and all of the polar bears in the world.......knowing where the savings will go makes me indifferent......

The problem with the left and democrats....and I am a working person so I have no business supporting Republicans any more than a small business owner has voting for democrats....is that the left has lost sight if the fact that no matter your race, your sexual orientation, your religion....whatever...your are first and foremost a member of the laboring class and as such engaged in a timeless struggle with capital. I will guarantee you that IF 75-80% of Americans needs were being met by gainful employment without any direct subsidization in the form of direct aid you couldn't find enough people upset over where a man in a skirt shite to get coverage on CNN.......the one and only issue that matters to Americans is jobs that pay enough to provide for themselves and their families......see to that basic necessity first and 99% of the rest of this nations problems evaporate.......

In your mind respect must be equated with ease of manipulation as that is exactly what we had in Obama.
