Should never have been allowed in the first place for anyone outside of overseas military and even then, you could arrange a poll on the base.

You can thank Covid (the gift that keeps on giving) and the 2020 legislation that went with it for that.

Correct, tough doo doo.

Edit : took the slur off because I thought this was a hypothetical and not reality. Still, tough doo doo.

lol. You’re running for office in our town and you get the local 80 bed nursing home owner on your side, you get 80 votes. Fact not fiction.

Also, we know why you really want mail-in. Your side’s ideas are crap to the majority of family-oriented private sector working folks, and you can’t win honestly.

I don’t leave my house very often since the stroke. Usually for rehab or medical
appointments.

It’s a big deal when I can get together with friends. Yeah it sucks. I used to get out a lot. Tough break, I guess, especially since I exercised, mostly ate healthy. Afib is a motherfricker. Me and Kareem, lol.

It needs to be done. In- person voting, ID required, make Election Day a national holiday so everyone who wants to vote, can.

Once in a couple of years. If you can shop or do ANYTHING, you can manage this. Honestly if you are so bad off you can't do this I hate to say you have no business voting because youre not informed at all on the issues.

Should we make allowances to get people such as yourself to the polls? I have no issue with that. But to vote I contend in person with ID is the only way to go.

My mother is neither lazy nor stupid; she is elderly and bedridden. You definitely want her to vote; she is super conservative

Mine is too and you want hers, too. Too much room for fraud; you give Dems an inch they’ll take a mile. The votes of honest people like our mothers would never outweigh the cheating perpetrated by Dems (mostly) through loopholes.

This is 2026. I stay informed and can even do a little work from home.

There are people worse off than I am.
It’s sad that you want to disenfranchise
them, too. Voter fraud is 80% myth. If not moreso. The evidence from credible sources is pretty clear. bullshite one-off

Yep. If there is a lack of compassion, the Dems are to blame, they exploit any act of kindness with cheating, then cry foul when the other side cleans up THEIR mess

People in wheelchairs are in line at the polling locations. You'll be fine, buttercup.

You don’t know my situation. Wheelchairs aren’t the answer to everything, and why do you want to increase obstacles to voters. Do you honestly think fraudulent mail-in votes
decide outcomes in our elections? There’s nothing to substantiate this. The
alleged fraud in Georgia, for example, was debunked long ago.
