Desantis has proven to be a great governor. There are good republicans out there holding office, Trump looks foolish when he goes after ones who should be an ally. Trump his destroying his movement by isolating potential Allies by going after them as a perceived threat to his own ambitions.
To me it shows Trump cares less about MAGA and more about his own success/popularity for the purposes of stroking his ego

Look, I think there was some bullshite going down early in the morning. But if Trump were able to have held onto some of the defections he experienced, and not alienated potential voters then the cheat would’ve been much more difficult to pull off. I’m ready and willing to vote for him again but I’m not blind to his weaknesses. He is his own worst enemy when it comes to the 15-20% of voters that determine elections. He needs to stop talking shite and start talking policy and successes. Shine a bright light on the differences in the country and world with Biden in the WH as opposed to himself. Going personal on allies, especially in public, is a losing strategy in the long term no matter how many likes it gets in the echo chambers of social media.

Trump is fixated on one issue: that 2020 election and revenge. It has driven him nuts.
He doesn't walk the walk in regards to his Drain the Swamp claim. Any swamper that shows Trump some love or is willing to sing his praises he will latch on to. The man's judgement in regards to this is unbelievable. He turned on a man that had really supported him and endorsed a swamper in Katie Britt. Bad judgement.

And it's done nothing but hurt him. He may still win the nomination but he has no chance against any Dem. Had he been a man about it and accepted defeat he may have come back from it.
