This guy thinks he’s the chosen one. It’s entertaining, but that’s it. His arrogance and his me me me attitude sucks.

That is the DeSantis strategy.

Trump is trying to draw him into the fight.

IMO, DeSantis will counterattack with surrogates. He'll continue to remain "above the fray" until he's within striking distance (if he ever gets that close).

Trump is right to call out DeSantis if he is aligning himself with Jeb. Jeb will not swing one vote DeSantis' way on policy positions. The only thing he can provide is money. I would hate to see DeSantis be a sellout.

Jeb and his brother are part of the open border policy problems that we are experiencing and if DeSantis wants to align himself with the Bushes, Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney he is making a big mistake imo. He couldn't align himself with a more damning group unless they were actual Democrats.

I look forward to Trump's break-up with the MyPillow guy. "MyPillow" is just great nickname fodder... something about humping the pillow or staining it or whatever.

I promise you DeSantis will need and want all three of those peoples' support also, if he is to move forward in the nominating process. Jeb Bush's not so much.

If he's so clever, why has every single person he's "carried" such as Ron turn out to be Globalstar and GOPe? He must be the worst judge of people I've ever seen in my life then.

Trump doesn't hold up to the standards he put forth for himself. It's a matter of time before Ron calls him out on it and Trump starts spewing a word salad of excuses and vitriol.

So why did Trump enthusiastically endorse him for governor, and then actively support him up until a few months ago?

Because the other option was much much much worse. Get a clue.

Trump feels he in large part got Desantis the governorship( true for first term) so of course he believes Desantis should be loyal to him. Don’t agree with the preemptive attack but don’t think it’ll matter either way. When Trump starts steadily holding rallies again in these primary states it’ll be obvious who is going to get the nomination. Desantis may siphon away some votes from people that follow politics 24/7 like the people on this board but it won’t be nearly enough to match Trump.

DeSantis is an actual conservative. Trump is not.

Trump is endorsing the swamp. DeSantis is not.

Many of us here, posting? Probably not. The large swath of people who let Georgia happen, for example. Absolutely.

Governor DeSantis is busy being an executive of the State of Florida.

Former President Trump is sitting there with alot more time on his hands to whine and cry.
