I’ve always been a “what part of illegal do you not understand” type.
If you’re here illegally, then you’re in the wrong. You can’t do this in Russia and expect to be there long.
But, I’m all in favor of getting rid of any illegal criminal. Hell, take the gangs in prison right now and give them a parachute and a one-way plane ride back, whether they’re foreign descendants but American or an illegal alien.
For the ones that are hard-working and provide a service to this country, pay taxes, etc. Identify them give them a period of time to go through the correct due process or kick them out too if they don’t follow our laws and register. If they become naturalized Citizens correctly, then good for them!

Even my head is spinning. Is Trump actually saying that there are "good illegals?" If MAGA flips on this issue it would show that they don't actually have beliefs, except to do whatever Trump says.

Is 365 days not enough to get the process started?
There's so many aid offices, foundations, help lines, etc... available to these people. I mean a metric frick ton... they have more and better access to legal help than DeShawn down the street does, or Nancy with her DUI...
A solid year to start the process to get on good footing is more than enough.
