We have 30 to 40 million Illegal Immigrants here. Not all of them are working. What all of them are doing is taking advantage of American Taxpayers via Public Schools, Hospital Emergency Rooms, etc.

Full deportation or not, they need to be accounted for, and their employers need to be fined and/or prosecuted. Those employers then need to be entered into some type of system that requires them to report on illegal workers. In short, the fricking employers should have to vouch for the illegal aliens they hire.

There was a story about how some chicken processing plant's just couldn't hire any local people. They claimed that it would take at least $30/hr to get a white man in the processing plant and the company just could not do that.
Why is that? is it because maybe it costs to live and $60k a year is enough to deal with the bullshite of life? nah, it can't be.
Pay more, or go out of business.

You are thinking rationally and looking for solutions.
What Trump is doing is going back to his pay-for-play program. The financial machine the fuels the migration of undocumented labor is feeling threatened, and that machine includes a lot of republican voting folks who can pay for access to Trump. Now that some one or group of Republican donors has gotten access to Trump, he seems willing to reverse the entire focus of both of his administrations.
Trump doesn't actually believe anything. Or at least he has not formed clear principals that drive his actions.

I'm not arguing for illegals. I think they all should be deported. I don't see any means of them "getting legal" once they enter illegally.

Even if this was always the plan, he should have kept it on the down low while people were still self deporting. Now they have a lifeline. Dumb move.
