There’s really no defending this. We know both things said are lies. Ron’s not some defender of sexual deviancy nor is he working with the DOJ to take Trump out

Sad what he has turned into. Or maybe this was so ways him and he’s just never felt threatened by another GOP candidate.

About a general election? No, he isn't.

He knows that he will win the Primary and he can grift for another year.

he knows that he will get crushed in the General and isn't even trying in that regard.

And he knows he can claim that 2024 is rigged as well and no Republican could win, and they will believe him because they already say it here.

He knows that if he can destroy Ron Desantis, a good man, thoroughly enough that 15% of the Republican electorate believe it, there's no one on deck for 2028 and he can do this again.

Everything is about him.

If it weren't for the fact that so much is on the line(like stacking the SCOTUS), I wouldn't vote for him. But we absolutely have to get Dems out of the White House.

Trump lost me today.

You don’t accuse a strong conservative governor of being pro pedophile and get my vote.

He also clearly doesn’t believe the polls if he’s resorting to this.

I'm trying not to be too reactive. I still know that the alternative is worse.

But this shite tries my patience. And it should be universally condemned. Anyone that isn't condemning both this and the Loomer thing is a piece of utter dogshit, as bad or worse than any Dem.

He’s on a kamikaze mission to destroy anyone in the party that might challenge his throne. As such conservatives will have less and less and less power as long as he’s around.

The only way he goes away is if he’s absolutely embarrassed in this election.

He’s going to stick around otherwise and give up senate seats and house seats until he’s gone

Silver lining is that Trump just gave DeSantis a reason to get on the mic and trash his arse at a level Trunp has never received directly from a political opponent before.

Trump’s prior opponents of Cruz, Kasich, Jeb, Hillary, Biden pack nothing of a punch compared to DeSantis.

And at this point, what does DeSantis have to lose? Knock him the frick out Ron, or at least go down trying.

Barely, but yes.

He will at the very least, appoint Right leaning people to the Court and use EOs to better the economy for 4 years.

At least, I think he will. I guess I don't know what he will do if he doesn't need to be re-elected.

538 - How our polling averages work

quote:

When polls are fed into the model, we decrease the effective sample sizes of large surveys. Leaving these large numbers as they are would give those polls too much weight in our average. As a default, we cap sample sizes at 5,000. Then, for all polls conducted for a given context (say, approval ratings), we use a method called winsorizing to limit extreme values.

So you consider 5,000 people an accurate statistical representation population for a country that has a total population of nearly 320 Million?

Do you think Ron Desantis has ACTUALLY been lenient on Sex Trafficking?

The article says the hotels were cited but not fined. That is kind of the definition of lenient. Just get a little less lenient. That's all.
