I said "dumb and undisciplined" to cover the "Stephen Miller" faction with the Trump administration. Pushing for angst is a losing approach for the party in power. You now have to show people that you can govern once you control the executive and legislative branches. Angsty voters pull the lever for change. I assume Trump does not want to throw control of Congress to the Democrats, so I apply "undisciplined" more to him personally.
