So red meat for the base. Tell us, exactly why would they need to devote precious time and attention and resources to his base, which in all likelihood consists of people who really don’t need any further convincing….? Can you square that up with your bold claim there??

The guy/gal (probably a female to be honest) acts like a child. Read through their posts in this thread. Laughing and sneering both erroneously and for no frickin' reason at all. Not on topic, no substantive contribution to the thread, called out by multiple posters, told to go play in traffic and then plays the victim card and even tries to recruit other users to rally behind her stupidity. As if she were still a child and this is a school playground. That is how that person acts.
I imagine she thinks if she makes fun of enough people and becomes popular enough she will be voted board homecoming queen or something. I don't know how else to explain the stupid shite.

Quite simply because people feel like when a guy gets shot at, his associates raided, his family sued, the lawfare, etc, that maybe, just maybe he would go after folks that he has said have committed treasonous acts. So when he flubbed and said “ah just kidding” there was quite a blowback.
Makes sense considering he’s spent nearly a decade saying these guys did this and that and blah blah blah. So of course he was told of the blowback and we get this bullshite Hail Mary to the Supreme Court. The same one he’s been shitting on for their limp wrist protections of the constitution.
So of course he knows it won’t go anywhere. But meatheads like boared will say “see, he’s doing something just like he said he would.” But he won’t, he isn’t, he never was.
So yeah, the base is pissed because they believe if wild man Trump won’t do that shite, then no one will. Same as they are pissed at him saying no new wars and yet, here we are with Iran. It’s all a charade man and the base will stay at home for the midterms as a result.
Dudes already a lame duck, now he will be a plucked flightless bird who pissed away not one but two times of having the house, the senate and the presidency and doing jack shite with it. So yeah, this is for the base who is rightly pissed at him.

For the same reason that Trump wants to build a Triumphal Arch, a new White House Ballroom, sell Trump watches, pardon George Santos, hawk his meme coin...to honor himself, enrich himself or bring attention to himself.
