I don’t know if she married her brother or not. I do know that she’s been married three times and the timeline is weird as hell, especially for a Muslim woman observant enough to wear hijab.

2017: Finally gets around to legally divorcing Elmi
2018: Finally legally marries Hirsi, father of her three children
2019: Legally divorces Hirsi, father of her three children
2020: Marries Tim Mynett, a political consultant for her campaign whose wife accused him of having an affair with Ilhan. He’s not Somali or Muslim. Again, totally normal 3rd marriage type behavior from a Somali Muslim hijabi divorcee.
