I watched a youtube video of Rep Dan Crewnshaw debating Bill Maher. A topic that they covered was the disrespect that people have lost for one another.
He said that while he was recovering from being blown up, Obama, like all presidents, made a stop at that particular hospital. He said that even though he did not agree with a lot of Obama's views, he was pumped that Obama took some time to stop and talk to all the wounded that were there. He even got Obama to sign his American flag that now hangs in his office.
And that is what America needs more of.
