It was initially reported that they were supposed to be smuggling arms into the hands of anti-IRGC protestors. We saw how that turned out. But word is they're arming the Kurds again. So hopefully it goes according to plan this time. We will just have to wait and see.

There is a difference between losing a war and a policy failure. You can debate whether it is a good idea to kick Iran's arse or not, but it is beyond fricking retarded to suggest we are actually losing the war itself. There won’t be regime change in Iran. The only way it would happen is if the US commits a large ground force and drives the Mullahs from power. That ain’t happening. Iran will never be free because the Mullahs are willing to kill the entire population in order to hold on to power.
